Sold Out

Exquisitely crafted, this 9ct yellow gold and sterling silver euro shank ring features an unusual baguette cut Danburite (9.3x4.2mm) with square cut London blue topaz (2.8mm) on each side and surrounded by 20 round brilliant cut diamonds (0.25ct).

Bold, modern and innovative, with a hint of vintage inspiration, this creation is a contrast of its intriguing delicate colours set in a substantial eye-catching setting that will take your breath away.

Danburite was first discovered in 1839 by Charles Shepard, and named after the location it was found in, Danbury, Connecticut. Apparently, this locality was never officially documented and became lost over time. It's been said that the actual city of Danbury was built right on top of the site.

Danburite has since been found in Russia, Mexico, Bolivia, Myanmar, Japan and Madagascar. A recent Danburite discovery in the town of Macomb, New York has reignited the interest in America’s Danburite search.

All gems and diamonds are ethically sourced and set in fair traded New Zealand gold and silver.
